Mount Sinai Health System’s 32nd Annual Crystal Party

Mount Sinai Health System’s 32nd Annual Crystal Party

On Thursday, May 4, more than 1,100 guests sipped cocktails, dined and danced the night away under a tent at the Central Park Conservatory Garden to celebrate the 32nd annual Crystal Party, Mount Sinai Health System’s annual benefit.

The much anticipated annual event has become a historic highpoint of the season and this year, Senator Chuck Schumer was on-hand to offer his support and recognition of Mount Sinai’s leadership and commitment to improving the lives of patients. The event, which raised $3 million, was chaired by Mount Sinai Trustee Zibby Schwarzman and Kyle Owens.

The funds raised at the Mount Sinai Crystal Party contribute to and make possible many of the key educational, clinical and research programs of the Mount Sinai Health System and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Ms. Schwarzman was joined by her mother, Ellen Phillips Katz, an emeritus trustee who was instrumental in organizing the first Crystal Party in 1985.

Kenneth L. Davis, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mount Sinai Health System and Peter May, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mount Sinai Health System took to the podium to highlight the many exciting new initiatives happening at Mount Sinai. Absolutely Wild provided beautiful, bright orange and pink floral arrangements that offset the chilly evening and Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs prepared the evening’s fare.
